Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals

Tingsha Cymbals, also known as Tibetan bells, are a timeless element of Buddhist tradition, used in rituals and meditation by the practitioners. Each piece features two thick hand cymbals, each measuring approximately 7 cm in diameter. They are joined by a long leather strap to each other. Together they weigh around 260-270 grams. When they are struck together, they create a clear, high-pitched tone with a long, resonant ring. The tones are identical or nearly identical to each other. 

Our Tingsha cymbals are handcrafted in Nepal from special bronze alloys known for their rich harmonic overtones. They are carved with sacred Tibetan motifs and symbols.

They are ideally used as a ritual tool. Their use extends beyond just being a ritual tool. They can also be used in yoga sessions, meditation practice, sound healing and music creation. Using Tingsha with singing bowls and other sound instruments, creates a profound and calm experience.
