Our authentic Tibetan Bell and Dorje Set is an ancient ritual tool used across the schools of Buddhism. It is often used to clear space before meditation, ceremonies, or spiritual practice.
The bell, always held in the left hand, represents feminine energy and wisdom. The dorje, always held in the right hand, represents masculine energy and compassion. They are always meant to be used together, not apart.
The bell is adorned with beautiful and intricate details which carry a deep and profound meaning. It measures about 17.5 cm tall, and its rim measures around 10 cm in diameter. The bell rings with a clear, lingering tone at its rim, symbolising the sound of emptiness. The dorje (Vajra in Sanskrit, meaning "Thunderbolt") has 8 prongs on both ends. The set weighs between 500 and 700 grams. It is handcrafted from bronze in Nepal using traditional techniques.
