Our Lunar Energy Singing Bowls are handmade under the mystical glow of full moon nights, harnessing the profound energy of the lunar cycle. During the full moon phase, each bowl is hand-hammered in a steady, meditative rhythm. This traditional process is believed to align the bowl with the moon’s natural flow.

Each singing bowl has a unique sound and vibration, shaped by the moment it was created and the intention behind its craftsmanship. This unique process gives each lunar energy singing bowl a special resonance that sets it apart from all others.

In both Buddhism and Hinduism, the new moon symbolises fresh beginnings, while the full moon represents maturity and reflection. These sacred singing bowls are tuned to reflect these phases, offering profound spiritual and meditative benefits to practitioners. Every bowl bears the original Full Moon insignia, alongside ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ (Om Mani Padme Hum), the mantra of compassion in elegant Tibetan script.

The singing bowls measure 20-21cm (1.2 kg approx.) and 21-23 cm (1.4 approx.). Each of them is made up of fine bronze. They are a testament to the rich tradition of Newari craftsmanship in Nepal.

Note: Each Lunar Energy Singing Bowl is handmade using traditional methods. Natural variations in surface colour, from lighter bronze to deeper brown, may occur due to heat and oxidation during the crafting process.

These singing bowls produce rich vibrations that can be both heard and felt, offering deep, grounding tones in larger sizes and clear, soothing sounds in smaller ones. They are ideal for yoga, meditation, sound therapy or sound healing sessions and relaxation in personal and group settings.

The sound recording serves as an example of the singing bowl’s sound. As each singing bowl is handcrafted, slight variations in tone and resonance may occur.

About Sizes & Craftsmanship

Since, each singing bowl is handcrafted, making no two bowls the same. We categorise our singing bowls by size in one of three ways: a diameter range (e.g. 19-21 cm, 21–22 cm), an approximate measurement, or an exact diameter. Also, the weight will vary from bowl to bowl which means no two bowls will have the same weight.

The marks left by the crafting process such as hammer marks, subtle scratches, and slight surface variations, are a natural part of every bowl. They're signs of authentic, hand craftsmanship, not imperfections.

For etched singing bowls category, each design is individually finished. Variations in patterns and motifs may occur across the inner walls, outer walls, and outer base from bowl to bowl, while the central inner base design remains consistent. The product images on the respective page reflect the overall style and craftsmanship of the bowl.

Traditional Hand-craftsmanship

Our singing bowls are hand-hammered by Newari artisans in Nepal using techniques passed down through generations. Each bowl starts as a flat piece of metal alloys and is gradually shaped, refined, and polished by hand. Depending on the design, it may also be etched or hand-carved with symbolic patterns.
