About Lingam
The Lingam is one of the most sacred symbols in Hinduism, representing Lord Shiva which is the divine force of creation, transformation, and cosmic balance. Its smooth, oval form signifies the formless, infinite nature of the universe, while the base (yoni) represents the feminine energy of Goddess Shakti, together symbolizing the union of consciousness and creation.
This piece features a detachable Nāga canopy rising protectively behind the Lingam, along with a coiled serpent at the base which are the sacred symbols of Lord Shiva's guardianship, awakened consciousness, and spiritual energy (kundalini). Worshipping the Lingam is said to bring inner peace, strength, and liberation (moksha), especially during Maha Shivaratri, the great night of Shiva.
This handcrafted Lingam is perfect for sacred rituals, meditation corners, spiritual décor, housewarming gifts, or as a sacred blessing for yoga and healing spaces.
