Description
Our Om Tibetan singing bowl features the revered Tibetan syllable Om ཨོཾ on the centre of the inner base, part of the powerful mantra Om Mani Padme Hum (ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ) which embodies the path of practice that leads to the purification of one's body, speech, and mind, and ultimately, to enlightenment. It is from this syllable that the bowl gets its name.
The singing bowl is decorated with intricate Tibetan geometric patterns and sacred syllables, each mark a reflection of generations of devotion and craftsmanship.
Sizes & Approximate Weights:
Since each singing bowl is handmade, size and weight may vary slightly, with a reminder of their authenticity. Available in top diameters of 20-22 cm, 24 cm, and 26 cm, with weights ranging from approximately 1.3 to 2 kg.
These singing bowls are handmade by our Newari artisans in Nepal, who work using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Each bowl is a labour of love, and no two are exactly alike.
