Introducing Our Hand Carved Singing Bowls
These hand carved singing bowls are a great testament to cross-cultural knowledge exchange and to our singing bowls collection. These sound bowls are a fusion of superior sound and traditional artistry. The carving designs on these modern singing bowls were taught by Bangladeshi craftsmen, known for their great metalwork craftsmanship, to Nepali craftsmen, resulting in this remarkable piece of craftsmanship.
Each singing bowl is made from bronze and completed entirely by hand in Nepal using traditional techniques. The bowl is carefully hand-hammered into shape, then fine-tuned to produce a rich, resonant sound that resonates deeply. After tuning, the bowl is polished and engraved or carved with beautiful, intricate designs — featuring complex and graceful geometric floral patterns inspired by traditional carpet artistry.
Nothing in the making process is rushed. From the first hammer strike to the final engraving, every step is done with intention and care. Depending on the size and level of detail, one bowl can take days or even months to complete, making each one a true reflection of traditional craftsmanship, sound therapy tools, and timeless artistry.
Sizes and Dimensions
The diameter of our singing bowls ranges from 21 cm to 25 cm, with the smallest starting at 21 cm. Weight varies from approximately 1.2 kg to 2.1 kg, depending on the diameter of the bowl.
One-of-a-Kind Designs
Each of these handmade singing bowls is unique. The carvings are never repeated, so when you choose a specific size, the matched design appears automatically, making every selection a one-of-a-kind piece.
